Two quick college basketball thoughts that stuck out to me, today.
So I’ve droned on awhile about this win, but that’s because it is one of the most satisfying wins I’ve ever witnessed. UC entered this season having won just 4 games in back-to-back seasons. We Bearcats fans were just hoping for six wins and a bowl game this year. Right now, because of Luke Fickell, his coaching staff, and the talented players he recruited to UC, they have a real chance to do a lot more than originally thought possible. That is why UC fans are the happiest in the nation right now.

UC Womps Alabama A&M
The first home UC football game of the season went as it should have. They had Alabama A&M scheduled, which is a school that is Division 1-AA, so the final score was about on target. The really fun part was the success of the Bearcats bench.

Happy Tuesday! Got a handful of random thoughts on my mind that would take a lot of effort to make into full posts, but look great in a list!

The Other Mock Draft
I’m getting ready to start a podcast with my pal, Pat, and we decided on a friendly wager. Each of us will give our predictions on what players will be selected with the first ten picks of the draft, as well as who we think the Bengals will pick. The winner gets his lunch paid for on a day TDB…or is it TBD…went Michael Scott there for a sec.
Since the end of last season I have reviewed countless mock drafts. I have paid attention to the coverage from draft experts Kiper and McShay. Now I’m taking a crack at my own mock draft but at a micro level.
The Draft is officially eight days away, so let’s talk some Bengals.
